Motorists were faced with huge traffic delays at rush hour on Wednesday evening around Trowbridge and Semington following an accident.
A people carrier, a blue Citeon Berlingo, was involved in a rear end shunt with a White Kia.
As fire and ambulance was dealing with the incident Police closed one lane A350 at Semington Roundabout on the road to Yarnbrook leaving the Yarnbrook to Semington Road open with delays as motorists had to navigate around the accident scene.
Traffic from Semington/Devizes roundabout was diverted on to the Trowbridge Road adding to the delays.
It is not thought anyone was seriously injured.
