THE hit BBC antiques show Celebrity Antiques Road Trip has passed through Wiltshire as part of a show being aired next week.

The show is back on TV screens, featuring a line-up of famous faces from stage, screen, comedy, sport and the media.

On BBC2 on Wednesday (November 14) at 7pm, Game of Thrones star David Bradley and fellow actor, EastEnders’ and Downton Abbey’s Nigel Harman will be the celebrity guests.

The pair will visit Wantage, Cirencester, Marlborough, Tetbury, Melksham, Warminster and Frome, finishing with a Cotswold auction.

The acting friends will head out on the highways from Oxfordshire to Somerset in search of antique goodies before ending their road trip in Gloucestershire.

A BBC spokesman said: “They’ve got antiques experts Natasha Raskin Sharp and Christina Trevanion a little worried, as between them they’ve played a long list of baddies on screen but they’re absolute gents in real life.”

Downton Abbey’s dastardly valet Nigel Harman takes a shine to a domestic appliance of yesteryear, despite the advice from his expert.

Game of Thrones’ Lord Frey, David Bradley, finds something that resonates with one of the characters he’s played.

Along the road to Winchcombe, Mr Harman goes in search of buried treasure and Mr Bradley visits a maltings for a little beer-tasting session.
