TRIBUTES have been paid to a “musical” girl who has died following Friday’s crash in Stratton.
Emily Williams, who was taken to Bristol Children’s Hospital following the crash on Meadowcroft, died earlier this afternoon.
The 11-year-old girl’s family said: “Emily was very musical and was always singing.
“Last year, Emily donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust which provides wigs for children who suffer from medical conditions or trauma. Emily’s hair was plaited and had bows and ribbons in and was then professionally cut to make the donation.
“Emily has now donated her organs to help others.”
Flowers have been placed at the scene of the crash.
Wiltshire Police has appealed for witnesses to the accident on Friday, November 16. A silver Mercedes C180, driven by a 26-year-old local man, struck Emily at around 2pm.
The force said the driver had remained at the scene.
Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
