MULLED wine, hot chestnuts, and Christmas carols will be on offer at this year’s Winter Floating Market in Bradford-on-Avon.

The market is opening from 6pm to 9pm on Friday (Nov 30) to coincide with the Christmas lights display being switched on in Westbury Gardens.

This year, the market is being organised by Laura Darling, owner of The Wolf Kitchen boat café. It will take place on the Kennet & Avon Canal towpath near the Lock Inn Café.

Eight narrowboat owners and eight stallholders are taking part in the event, which opens from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

There will be live music from buskers, hot food, mulled wine and festive gifts from canal traders available on all three days.

They include illustrator Dru Marland, The Fender Boat, the Sweet Barge, cheese and chutneys, hot chestnuts, Christmas decorations and children’s crafts.
