A BODY has been discovered at a flat in Rowley Place, Melksham as firefighters arrived to tackle a fire which had started in the property.
Firecrews from Trowbridge, Melksham, a specialist unit from Salisbury, forensics and crime scene investigators attended the scene this afternoon where the body was discovered.
Rowley Place is managed by Selwood Housing Association and provides retirement housing.
The cause of death is currently being investigated.
