FREEZING overnight temperatures predicted for the next few days means that rough sleepers will be given a bed to stay in throughout the cold period.
The severe weather emergency provisions (SWEP) is provided by Wiltshire Council, which has a statutory obligation to help those on the streets find shelter. Anyone who needs help can visit a Housing Option Hub at Monkton Park in Chippenham, County Hall in Trowbridge and Bourne Hill in Salisbury for support.
Shelter will provided until temperatures begin to rise again.
During work hours, Wiltshire Council's advice service can be contacted on Trowbridge 01225 718005, Chippenham 01249 706666, or Salisbury 01722 434233 but after 5pm, contact the Emergency Team on 0300 456 0100.
