A VIRTUAL cornucopia of live music, lunchtime recitals, film, comedy, drama, live screenings, talks and family theatre is on offer at The Pound Arts Centre in Corsham during its spring season.

Its listings for January to April feature a wide range of events and activities to suit all ages and tastes.

Highlights of the live music include Harry Miller on January 25 at 8pm, Ben Waters on January 26 at 7.30pm, Lewis Clark & The Essentials recording a live album on March 7 at 8pm, Jo Harrop singing Peggy Lee hits on March 8 at 7.30pm, the Jennifer Crook Trio on March 30 at 7.30pm, Jack Cookson on April 26 at 8pm and Moore Moss Rutter, winners of the 2011 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award, on April 27 at 8pm.

Lunchtime recitials included Bradley Johnson on guitar on January 23 at 1pm, Thibault Blanchard (cello) and Kyle Nash-Baker (piano) on February 27 at 1pm, and Charlotte Rowan (violin) and Charlotte Stevenson (piano) on March 27 at 1pm.

Comedy features Sidhu Vee: Sandhog on February 2 at 8pm, Ivo Graham on March 28 at 8pm, and Rob Auton on April 18 at 8pm.

Talks and spoken word include poetry from Luke Wright on March 9 at 8pm, and Brian Patten on April 6 at 7.30pm.

Theatre features the FestWest Double Bill, The Swimmer & Kinkens, on February 21, at 7pm, while live screenings include work by the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre Live.

Family theatre highlights include Over the Moon by the Hurly Burly Company on February 15 at 10.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
