Police were called out on Saturday afternoon after a hit and run in Trowbridge.
At 4.50pm on Saturday (January 5) officers attended the road traffic collision in Bradley Road where a pedestrian was hit by a car.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was treated by paramedics at the scene for facial injuries and taken to the RUH as a precaution.
The vehicle, a blue Ford Focus, failed to stop at the scene but has now been traced by police and the owner has been spoken to.
