COMEDY improvisation company Instant Wit will bring an evening of songs, gags and general silliness - all based around audience suggestions - to the Cause Music and Arts Centre in Chippenham on Saturday February 2.

Maybe you have always wanted to hear a medieval madrigal containing lines you might find written in a teenager’s diary or possibly watch a sketch where some ninja cockroaches take over 10 Downing Street? Your wish is their command, in a show called The Unusual Suspects.

Nobody is forced to participate, however, and the Bristol performers even build in a section where anonymous suggestions, written down in the interval, can be acted out. Good suggestions receive flying packets of custard, and the best of the evening gets a bottle of wine.

Many people have seen improvised comedy on the television, but this evening is totally live, and just the tickets if you like your comedy fast-paced.

The Guardian describes Instant Wit as “conspicuously skilful performers – everyone is exhilarated on stage and off!”

Tickets are £12. To book, visit ragandbonearts.com or eventbrite.co.uk.
