PLACES for the Bath Half Marathon in March are being offered by a Trowbridge-based charity that helps young people who grapple with unemployment and homelessness.

The Amber Foundation in Bythesea Road has ten places remaining for the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday, March 17 for anyone who wishes to raise funds for the charity.

General entries for the race are now sold out. The deadline to bag one of Amber’s places is February 7.

Fundraising manager Laura Fenson said: “The charity provides more than just a safe place, we offer specialist support for 17 to 30-year-olds with complex needs.

“Most Amber residents leave their troubled pasts behind them and move on to bright independent futures; a job, training or university place and most importantly a safe secure home of their own.”
