ANY unwanted Christmas presents or clutter from clear-outs can be donated to a charity shop in Trowbridge which is asking for the town’s support with its new campaign.
CLIC Sargent, a children’s cancer charity, has just launched its New Year Clear Out campaign and has been taking in donations of unwanted goods by the sackload since Christmas.
Kate Jones at CLIC Sargent, Trowbridge said: “We have had so much donated since Christmas which is great. We have had a lot of support from people of the town and the surrounding areas.
“People like to have a clear-out at the new year and any unwanted Christmas gifts make great donations. We can take just about anything.
“It’s great that this stuff can get recycled and go to another home, and all whilst supporting CLIC Sargent which is our main goal.”
To donate, go to the shop in Fore Street, open 9.00am-4.30pm. For more information go to www.clicsargent.org.uk
