GUESTS and parents who use the Woolley Grange Hotel at Bradford on Avon have helped to raise a further £4,443.88 for Julia’s House Hospice.
General manager Clare Hammond presented a bumper cheque to Julia’s House Children’s Hospice community fundraiser Claudia Hickin on Friday (11January) at their Mums, Dads and Tots coffee morning.
Clare said: “We raised the money by taking part in the Jurassic Coast Trek, asking guests for donations on each bill and through general fundraising.”
The latest cheque bring the hotel’s fundraising total for Julia’s House Hospice, which cares for seriously ill children, to an amazing £12,465.67.
The hospice will use the funds to support Wiltshire children with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions.
The Wiltshire and Dorset charity provides frequent and regular support in the children’s own homes, in the community, or in their hospices. In 2017 it opened a new hospice in Devizes.
