Aldi will open a brand new store in Chippenham on Thursday January 31 at 8am when Olympic silver medalist swimmer Siobhan-Marie O’Connor cuts the ribbon.

The store on Langley Park is the eleventh Aldi to open in Wiltshire, and will be run by manager Alison Cox, along with a team of 33 staff. Exclusive offers will run throughout opening day, and the first 30 customers through the door will receive a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and veg from Aldi’s Super 6 range.

Store manager, Alison Cox, said: “I can’t wait to finally open the doors to the Chippenham store and meet our new customers. It’s great that we can reach out to even more of the Wiltshire community.”

Swimmer Siobhan-Marie O’Connor, said: “What a fantastic opportunity to be able to officially open Aldi’s new Chippenham store. Aldi has given Team GB a wealth of support through our partnership so this is a lovely way for me to give back to them and the local community.”

The new store is part of Aldi’s expansion throughout the UK, with a commitment to operate 1,200 stores by 2025.

The new store includes fresh British meat products, a Food to Go section at the front,a dedicated fixture along the back wall, showcasing beers, wines and spirits and a health and beauty section.

Customers can expect to find Aldi’s exclusive Specially Selected range, weekly fresh meat offers and Super 6 fruit and veg. Aldi’s Specialbuys will also be available every Thursday and Sunday, offering value on a wide range of products from electrical items to garden tools.

The new store will be open 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
