THE four semi-finalists for the A&B Cup, sponsored by AM Print & Copy, have been decided in the Trowbridge Windows & Conservatories Trowbridge & District League and the shock of the day came when Division One leaders Hilperton United fell 4-2 to Division Two side Warminster United.

Goals from Luke Murden and Sam Walker were not enough for Hilperton as Tom Martin (2), James Vincent and Matt Dyer sparked an upset for Warminster.

Holt ran out 3-0 winners over Heytesbury thanks to two strikes from Scott Baker and one from Otis Young.

Max Pollock got two goals as Warminster Town Reserves saw off the Stiffs 7-0.

Samuel Dufosee, Corey Gardner, Nicholas Tayler, James Dyer and Harry Gilmour also netted.

Three Daggers saw off Freshford United 3-1.

Freshford led through Sean Horobin, but Daggers hit back and goals from Joseph Moloney, Philip Hampson and Mark Young sent them through to the last four.

DIVISION ONE

MELKSHAM Town A and Semington Magpies played out a draw for the second week in a row, with this latest clash ending 4-4.

Jordan Evans got two goals for Melksham and Jack Woolsgrove and Jake Cooper also netted, while Jordan Field’s hat-trick and Ben Jenkins and replied.

Trowbridge Town Reserves saw off Calne Eagles 3-0 after a double from Alex Shaw and one from Kieran Green.

DIVISION TWO

CALNE Town Reserves thumped Spencers 10-2 to move to the top of the table.

Brett Fairclough led the way with a remarkable six goals, Edrin Asante weighed in with two and further goals from Alfonso Ferreira and John Sims made up Calne’s 10. Tom Foley and Rhys Edwards scored for Spencers.

Marshfield roared to a 6-1 win at Trowbridge Wanderers Development.

A hat-trick from Tom Richards and efforts by Joe Hylands, James Williams and Callum Duckett kept up Marshfield’s promotion challenge with Michael Johnson scoring for Wanderers.

Matthew Carter’s brace helped Zeals win 4-2 at Greyhound.

Ethan Wilkinson and Haydyn Glasson also netted for Zeals and Greyhound replied through Gavin Francis and Simon Parfitt.
