ANNA Iles and Bev Vincent, of Iles and Vincent Funeral Services in Warminster, recently ran a hugely successful Pudding and Quiz night in St John’s Church hall. A fun evening was had by all who attended. The team at Iles and Vincent worked hard to organise the evening, ensuring it would run perfectly, without a hitch and that there were plenty of lovely puddings to be enjoyed at half time.

Anna and Bev would like to thank everyone who helped and took part and were delighted that the evening raised £407.10 towards the heating fund at St John’s Church. Anna said "This is the first event of this sort that we have organised and were delighted by the turnout and kind support we were given. It was so well received and such a success we will definitely be organising another event to help St John’s Church heating fund in the near future. It has once again been an honour to do something in Warminster to benefit the community."

David Prescott, Associate Priest at St John’s, said "We really appreciate all the hard work that went into making this quiz run so smoothly. Several people commented that it was one of the best run quiz evenings they had been to - no long waits between rounds while people mark each other's papers, an efficiently run raffle, and everybody's needs catered for throughout the evening."

The Iles and Vincent team would like to say a big thank you to Mark the amazing quiz master; special thanks to Charlie at The Hollies, Westbury Leigh for the loan of the equipment and all his behind the scenes help, thanks to Jason at James Longs Stonemasons, Trowbridge, for donating the fabulous first prize of a golf day at Orchardleigh and to everyone else who kindly donated raffle prizes and attended.
