Adver Sport assess the performances of the Swindon Town players in tonight’s 2-0 win over Forest Green Rovers in League Two.
LAWRENCE VIGOUROUX – 7.5
Barely anything to do in the first half but kept alert and was much busier in the second, including making a couple of fine fingertip saves.
KYLE KNOYLE – 6.5
As reliable as ever on the right. Did his defensive duties as required and got forward when he could too.
DION CONROY – 8
Took a whack to the face early on but shook that off to put in a gritty display at the back. One superb chance-saving challenge was a highlight.
TOM BROADBENT – 7
Adjusting well to a new partner and was strong and robust. Can take credit from the fact Christian Doidge hardly had a sniff at goal all night.
ALI KOIKI – 7
Showed his pace on the left and was a threat on more than one occasion. Booked for time wasting.
JAK MCCOURT – 7
Energetic performance and put himself about all over the pitch. A couple of fiery challenges before being withdrawn in the second half.
CANICE CARROLL – 6.5
Drafted in last-minute after Danny Rose pulled up in the warm-up but slotted in nicely and did his part to stifle Rovers’ play.
KESHI ANDERSON – 6.5
On the end of a bit of rough treatment but was positive in his play and held up the ball nicely on occasions. Subbed late on.
MICHAEL DOUGHTY (C) – 7
Naturally tough to repeat his heroics of the previous game but was still prominent enough and pivotal in several attacks.
KAIYNE WOOLERY – 8
Scored a wonderful goal from distance and kept the visiting defence on their toes with his blistering pace.
THEO ROBINSON – 8
Already looks a decent focal point to the attack, gamely chasing through balls and finished superbly with the one clear-cut chance he did get. Subbed late on.
Substitutes:
JAMES DUNNE – 6.5
(For McCourt, 71) Beefed up the midfield in the latter stages.
KYLE BENNETT – 6
(For Anderson, 82) Nice to get a debut but not much time to make an impression.
MARC RICHARDS – 6
(For Robinson, 86) Only brought on in the last knockings of the game.
Subs not used: Luke McCormick, Ellis Iandolo, Ben House, Toumani Diagouraga.
