Three teenagers who were arrested in connection with a double stabbing on Wednesday night which left a man with life threatening injuries have been released on bail.

Two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm on Friday and have been released on conditional bail, pending further enquiries.

One of them, a 17-year-old boy from Trowbridge, has been charged with possession of a knife and appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court on Saturday. He was released on conditional bail and is due to return to court later this month.

One of the victims who sustained minor injuries was released from Bath RUH the next day. The other man in his 20's who sustained life threatening injuries remains in Southmead hospital.
