THE charity needs more volunteer co-ordinators and drivers to help people in the town and surrounding villages who have difficulty with transport get to hospital and other, mainly medical, appointments.
Drivers use their own cars, and are paid 45p a mile. Co-ordinators work from home for a minimum of two days a month, taking calls and matching people with volunteer drivers.
Link member Victor Holden said: "Unfortunately we are currently very short of co-ordinators and drivers. It was felt that if more Bradford residents were made aware of our shortfall a few much needed volunteers might hopefully materialise."
