THE newly formed Trowbridge pride committee met in the community room of Tesco to speak about the importance of LGBT history month which took place in February.
The group were visited by members of the public who were keen to ask questions about both the group and nationally recognised event.
Becky Mehsen, chairman of the newly formed Trowbridge Pride group said: "As a committee we are overwhelmed by the welcome we are having from Trowbridge and its community.
"With over 30 people coming into chat to learn about such an important part of history is very humbling."
Wiltshire Council raised a rainbow flag outside County Hall in Trowbridge to show their support for LGBT history month.
Councillors, directors and staff are also showed their support by wearing rainbow lanyards
The Trowbridge pride group plan to hold a pride event in Trowbridge in 2020.
