WILTSHIRE Police are investigating a burglary at a house in Bradford-on-Avon during which several items of jewellery were stolen.

Between the morning of Friday, March 2 and the evening of Saturday, March 3, a window at a house in Bradford Leigh was smashed and jewellery was stolen while the homeowner was away.

The items of jewellery stolen include a gold wedding ring, a gold heart locket and chain, a set of silver stud earrings, two silver chains, a gold engagement ring with red stones, and various gold stud earrings.

PC Bethany Collins said: "This incident left the homeowner very upset and shaken and we are keen to trace who is responsible.

"If anyone saw any suspicious activity in the Bradford Leigh area during these times, or may be able to help us locate the jewellery so we can return it to the owner, please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54190021485."
