PUPILS at Fairfield Farm College in Dilton Marsh are celebrating winning silver in the South England Panathlon Championship final.
A total of 14 pupils from the college had an early start and travelled to Stoke Mandeville Stadium for the competition against other SEN schools in the south of England on March 7.
They took part in a variety of sports and achieved gold in boccia, wheelchair slalom, turbo javelin and standing long jump, silver in precision beanbag and bronze in new age kurling and table cricket.
At the end of the competition Fairfield Farm College was joint first, but after a count back they were awarded silver.
Marketing and charity fundraising manager Debbie Hughes said: “The students all showed great team spirit and excellent sporting behaviour towards others.
“It was a great day to be cherished and remembered by all who took part.
“What a fantastic achievement and well done to all the students that took part and competed.”
