A BRITISH soldier who suffered brain and back injuries in Afghanistan gave a talk on motivation at Savernake View Care Home in Marlborough last Thursday.
Lance Corporal Stephen Sebburn was not expected to walk again but has since won gold medals at the Invictus Games in 2017.
During the talk he said one elderly lady picked up on his notes on motivation and determination and walked across the room to the talk on a frame. He said she hadn't managed to walk so far for a long time which he said made the talk worthwhile.
Seb as he is known to friends lives in Ffynnon Gynydd, Wales.
