The Methuen Arms in Corsham and the Dining Room at Whatley Manor, Malmesbury have both been named Rosette Award winners by the AA.
The Rosette Awards recognise the restaurants with the highest culinary offerings in the UK, according to the AA. Wiltshire appeared prominently in the list, with the Methuen Arms winning three rosettes, and Whatley Manor winning four, marking it as being one of the top restaurants in the country.
Old Downton Lodge in Ludlow, Shropshire, and Roganic in London also received four AA rosettes, while sixteen restaurants in total were awarded three rosettes.
Simon Numphud, managing director at AA Hotel and Hospitality Services said: “We are delighted to recognise these hotels and restaurants for achieving such high standards of culinary excellence. Congratulations to all those working at these establishments, who continue to show the breadth and quality of the British culinary landscape.”
At the Methuen Arms, chef Leigh Evans delivers modern British food with the finest local produce. The Dining Room has Niall Keating leading the kitchen team, drawing inspiration from Asia and France.
