PUPILS at Westbury Leigh Primary School have been taking part in science activities to celebrate British Science Week.
The classes completed many different investigations to allow all children to have opportunities to have fun with science.
The week was a chance for the children to explore science in different and interesting ways across all ages of the primary curriculum.
Year one teacher Mrs Nash said: “The children were really immersed in the learning and they thoroughly enjoyed thinking about how science links with real life, not just in the classroom.
“Children were very enthusiastic and are looking forward to sharing what they achieved with the whole school in a celebration assembly.”
Year one pupils who were learning about light, colours and materials said: "'I love science. I want to do this every day.
"I remember when we were learning about this before, this is fun."
