ELDERLY residents living in the Bowerhill area of Melksham are being invited to a Mad Hatter's Tea Party being staged by a Wiltshire care services agency.
The event, to which all are invited, is being staged on Wednesday, April 24 from 2pm-4pm at Bowerhill Village Hall, Melksham.
Spokeswoman Tamara Oliver said: “We are hosting this as part of Abicare's live-in service for senior citizens.
“As well as proving domiciliary home care and live-in care, we are extremely socially-conscious and we like to hold events out in the local community so that seniors are able to get out and about and interact with others.
“We have a number of activities planned for the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, including decorating hats and making up plant pots- activities to keep the brain stimulated.
“Our tea party is open to anyone to join us but all seniors are especially welcome.”
Salisbury-based Abicare offers at-home and live-in care services for residents living across the south of England and Wales.
