A NEW campaign for road safety improvements on the A36 through Wiltshire has been launched by local people following a string of fatalities.
The move is being backed by South West Wiltshire MP Dr Andrew Murrison, as the road runs through his constituency and he agreed it is dangerous for people to use.
is backing a campaign to improve safety on the A36 following a string of ten fatal road accidents between Limpley Stoke and Codford.
He said: “The residents are about to mount a significant campaign to get definitive changes to the stretch and I am supporting them.”
The campaign is being spearheaded by Black Dog Farm owner Andrew Whitmore, who says the road needs changes.
