A SUPPORT group for local people living with severe allergies will be taking place on May 11 at Holt Village Hall.
Headteacher of Fitzmaurice Primary School Tracey Dunn will be hosting the group between 3-4.30pm.
She is a parent of a child living with severe allergies to peanuts and animal hair. Her support group is run in conjunction with the Anaphylaxis Campaign, the only UK wide charity solely focused on supporting people at risk of severe allergic reactions.
She said the group has now been running for about a year and is a great place to meet other parents who are managing day to day living with their own allergies or who are caring for young people, to share top tips and problem solve issues like travel, schools and workplaces. Children are welcome.
