THE M5 northbound between junctions J18A and J17. The hard shoulder and lane 1 are closed for roadworks. Expect disruption until 12 noon on May 21. There is one of three lanes closed.
On the railways, engineering work is taking place between Bristol and Westbury, closing all lines.
Trains will not run between Bristol Temple Meads and Swindon / Westbury or between Swindon and Westbury.
Buses will replace trains between:
Bristol Temple Meads, Bath Spa and Chippenham
Chippenham and Swindon
Bristol Temple Meads and Westbury - some buses will call at all stations and some will run directly or with fewer calling points. Some buses will be extended to run to / from Frome for better rail connections.
Swindon and Westbury
Trains between Swansea, Penzance, Paignton, Taunton, Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington will be diverted via an alternative route between Bristol Temple Meads and Swindon.
