AN exhibition to showcase the work of 13 young women who attended a Wiltshire Mighty Girls workshop has opened at Bradford on Avon Library.

The month-long Wiltshire Mighty Girls Art and Photography Exhibition runs from May 16 to 31 during library opening hours.

It displays the photography and artwork of young women from the local community who went to the workshops back in February.

Marsha Mars, of Wiltshire Mighty Girls, said: “All the work was created by local girls aged 11-16 at our body positivity workshop in February, where we examined the complex theme of self-image.

“Inspired by their research into how women are often misrepresented, and their efforts to turn this around.

“The exhibition uncovers beautifully authentic and honest photography portraits and mono prints.

“We were excited to collaborate with Emily Middleton Art and Photography on this.”
