A WESTBURY cat owner is appealing for help after his pet was shot in the head by a yob using a pellet gun or air rifle.
Wayne Curie, of Ash Grove, Westbury, posted a message on a local social media website after his cat Mushu was shot and injured.
He said: “This is a heads up to all in our community, some psycho has shot my cat Mushu in the head with a pellet from an air rifle.
“We don’t need idiots like that around here, please be vigilant and keep your eyes and ears open for any barrel ends out of windows and any popping sounds.
“This isn’t the first time this has happened as I had RSPCA knocking at my door last year for any information. Please be aware that this type of person won’t stop at one cat. It’s some fairly close as my cat don’t go that far and I’m hazarding a guess of a few hundred square metres around the Groves.”
