WILTSHIRE Music Centre in Bradford on Avon has announced the return of its popular Big Family Music Day event.

The centre-wide event comes back on Saturday, June 22 from 10am-4pm with more workshops, creative activities and music than before.

A WMC spokeswoman said: “Join us for a jam-packed day of fun for all the family.

“There will be fun and activities throughout the day, including a live free stage featuring some of Wiltshire’s best young musical talent.

“This is a unique opportunity to discover a world of new instruments and experience music from around the world including African percussion and a live ceilidh.

“There will be opportunities to join in such as taking part in a large scale ensemble performance in our auditorium led by the Wiltshire Young Musicians.

“Fantastic food and drink will also be available, provided by outstanding local providers.”

Residents from the town and surrounding area are being invited to come along and experience something new at the day out for all the family.

Tickets cost £6 for adults and £3 for under 18s and students.

The centre’s season of summer screenings will take audiences to Glyndebourne, the Royal Opera House and Maastrich for glorious live performances.
