HOUSEBUILDER Redrow Homes has championed the women’s team at Warminster Rugby Club close to its Tascroft Rise development.

The company sponsored the Dorset and Wilts Girls 7s Festival which took place in May in Warminster.

The club welcomed female players for the U13s, U15s and U18s teams in the region for a day of rugby.

The winning teams, including Chippenham, Walcot and Dings Crusaders, were awarded cups and medals to celebrate their success.

As one of the key sponsors of the festival, Redrow has now donated £1,500 to support the women’s rugby team throughout its next season.

Charlotte Newnes, Redrow South West area sales manager, said: “We are committed to helping the local community in the areas we build houses in and are thrilled to be supporting women and girls in rugby."

“The festival sounded like a great event which we were proud to be a part of and we are now looking forward to keeping up to date with how the team progresses during its next season.”

Redrow is now building and selling the second phase of homes, having already sold over a third with first completions expected at the end of June.

Phase two will see 142 two, three and four-bedroom Heritage Collection homes, available from £299,995, built over the next 18 months with the development due to be completed in 2021.

Potential homebuyers, at any stage of the ladder, can also benefit from a range of schemes available including Redrow’s Help to Sell and Help to Buy options.

Charlotte continues, “The site offers a great combination of countryside living, looking out over fields on one side, with the convenience of being just a 15-minute walk away from the thriving town of Warminster.

Visitors can drop in to the development to view the show homes every day between 10am and 5.30pm, and members of the Redrow sales team will be on hand to answer any queries.
