PEOPLE in Bathampton and Monkton Farleigh will have post office services back in their villages from next month.
The Bathampton service will operate from 25 Cafe, 25 Holcombe Lane, Bathampton on a Tuesday and a Thursday from 8-10am.
The Monkton Farleigh service will operate from The Kings Arms, 42 Monkton Farleigh, Bradford on Avon, on a Tuesday and a Thursday from 10.30am-12.30pm.
To accommodate the above new services, there will be some changes to the current opening hours for the service at Longbridge Deverill at Lakeside Garden Centre, Crockerton.
The new opening hours will be Monday from 9am-5pm and Friday from 9am -3pm. These changes will commence from week beginning Monday 22 July.
Neil Jenkins, Post Office network change manager, said: “We are delighted to be able to restore Post Office service to Monkton Farleigh and Bathampton.”
