Before Swindon magistrates on June 27:

CHIPPENHAM: A man who harassed a woman by making unwanted phone calls and creating a fake Facebook profile to contact her has been fined £184. Tyson Junior Miller, 32, of Hill Rise Corner, admitted the offence in Calne in January and and was also ordered to pay a victim service charge of £40 and £85 costs.

CORSHAM: Simon James Wade, 49, of Elley Green, has been remanded on bail for sentencing after he admitted sending over 30 harassing messages to a woman over three days in February. Wade was bailed until July 18 on condition he does not contact his victim.

GOATACRE: Failing to take a breath test when under investigation in Calne on June 26 cost Stephen Ian Ware, of Harts Close, his driving licence. As well as the 20-month ban he was also ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within a year work after he pleaded guilty.

WARMINSTER: A man who pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman has been fined £80, and forbidden from contacting her or approaching her home on The Heathlands. Krzysztof Andrezej Bielas, 43, was also ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge but there was no order for costs, as the court was told he is likely to be extradited to Poland to serve a custodial sentence there.

Before Swindon magistrates on June 26:

DAUNTSEY: Drink-driving cost Simon John Berryman his licence and a £330 fine. Berryman, 47, of St Johns, admitted driving an Audi with a breath-alcohol level of 67, the legal limit being 35, on May 26 at Chippenham, and also to failing to stop or give his name and address after a collision with a tractor. The court imposed no separate penalty for these offences.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Philip Daniel Chapman has been ordered to pay £1,8 09 in compensation after he pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a Renault Megane in the town on January 20. Chapman, 58, of Daisy Brook, was also ordered to stay away from Hart Close, Royal Wootton Bassett for a year and to obey a 7pm-7am curfew, monitored by an electronic tag, for four weeks.

DEVIZES: A man who stole steak worth £89.12 from M&S in the town on May 23 has been jailed for 28 days. Alfie Smith, 36, of Highlands Road, Andover, was also ordered to pay compensation to the store.

CHIPPENHAM: Serving prisoner Joshua Alexander Carey, 28, of Royal Close, has had another seven days added to his sentence after he admitted possessing cocaine in the town on December 15 last year.

CHIPPENHAM: Simon Lee Niblett, 43, of Clifton Close, has been ordered to attend an alcohol treatment course after he admitted attacking paramedic John Gray in the town on April 15. He was also told to pay his victim £200 in compensation.
