Two Candlelight staff in Westbury have won care awards from the company

At the awards lunch at Long Sutton Golf Club, Hayley Annetts was announced as the winner of the Best Newcomer Award, and her colleague Mandy Shuckford won the Georgina Rogers Memorial Award for best Senior Care Professional.

They were part of a group of four finalists from Westbury, including one double finalist, competing with 26 other finalists across Candlelight Care’s five branches.

The company-wide Candlelight Care Awards were launched in 2017 to recognise and applaud the amazing work carried out by the Candlelight Care staff every day of the year, whatever the weather.

More than 300 nominations were received for the six categories which included Best Newcomer, Unsung Hero, and a special Dignity in Care award where nominations were made by clients.
