STAFF at baby foods manufacturer Nutricia in Trowbridge are hoping to raise several hundred pounds for the Wallace & Gromit Children’s Charity Appeal for Bristol Children’s Hospital.

Employees of the Dutch-owned company took part in a ‘Wrong Trousers’ Day on Wednesday, June 26 at their head offices on the White Horse Business Park.

They also held a ‘cheese’y’ event with cheese and biscuits and a sweepstake with a cheesecake tower as the main prize.

Tom Pattermore, Nutricia’s marketing manager, said: “We have supported the Wallace & Gromit Children’s Charity Appeal for the past ten years.

“We make advanced medical nutritional products for children who cannot improve their growth through food alone.”

The firm’s finance director Jeroen Van Dongen, wearing the lederhosen, is pictured with Wallace (Jamie Duncan) and Gromit (Karen Austin), alongside Lyndsay Wyatt, Lyndsey Mizen, Adele Jones, Tom Pattermore and Di Almond.

The Wallace & Gromit Children’s Charity is the only national charity helping children and their families in local hospitals and hospices across the UK.

It helps to provide them with state-of-the-art medical equipment, family accommodation and art, music and play programmes.
