The King George V playing field in Melksham
TWO teenage boys stopped and searched by police in Melksham’s largest park are being investigated for possession of drugs after a daytime operation.
Officers patrolling King George V Playing Field in Lowbourne at 4.29pm on Thursday, June 20, saw three people acting suspiciously.
One man drove off in a vehicle but the other two were stop-searched under the Misuse of Drugs act and a quantity of cannabis was seized.
Both boys, who are from Melksham, are now under investigation for possession with intent to supply.
