AN investigation is continuing into a "disorder incident" in Bradford city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning. 

Officers were called to Westgate, at the junction of Sackville Street, at 3.30am reports of disorder on the street.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "From initial enquiries, it appears there has been an altercation within the Village nightclub, which has continued outside the Sackville Street club and then onto Westgate.

"Four men who were arrested in connection with the incident have been released under investigation.

"A fifth man, aged 20, remains in custody under arrest on suspicion of Section 18 wounding and possession of an offensive weapon.

"Detectives are continuing to appeal for information and would like to speak to anyone who saw the altercation inside the nightclub or who saw the disorder outside."

Five people were taken to hospital with stab and slash wounds. All have now been discharged from hospital.
