FOOTAGE has emerged on social media of a member of staff at a Bradford school allegedly assaulting a pupil.
The video, said to have been taken at Laisterdyke Leadership Academy, shows the pair walking down a corridor.
Star Academies, which runs the school, confirmed a member of staff had been “immediately suspended”.
An academy spokesperson said: “The health and safety of our students is our number one priority.
“As soon as we became aware of the seriousness of this incident, we immediately suspended a member of staff.
“The local authority designated officer was also informed and an investigation was started.”
The spokesperson said nothing more could be said at this stage.
