POLICE have appealed for witnesses following a fail to stop incident on the A350 near Lacock.
At about 1.30pm on Thursday, July 18, a vehicle overtook a line of stationary traffic on the A350 and collided with a workman who was operating a stop/go board. He also verbally abused the victim before driving off.
The incident happened near the Melksham Road/Lacock Road junction.
The workman - aged in his 30s - sustained minor injuries to his leg and hand.
The suspect is believed to have been driving a black Audi and is described as white, aged in his 40s, with black hair and of medium build.
Police would like anyone with information to call 101 and quote crime reference number 54190070243.
