Where is it best and worse to make an appointment?
For many people, it’s booking an appointment that’s the most important thing about a surgery.
The 2019 survey asks patients how easy it is to make appointments at their surgery.
Bradford On Avon & Melksham Health Partnership was the joint worst here.
Less than half – just 41 per cent - of patients reported they had a good overall experience of making an appointment.
A third of patients surveyed – 33 per cent – said the experience of making an appointment was ‘fairly poor’ or ‘very poor’
Next was Tinkers Lane Surgery, where 51 per cent of patients were happy with making an appointment.
The best surgeries for appointment making were Burbage Surgery with a perfect score of 100 per cent, followed by Ramsbury Surgery with 99 per cent.

What does the CCG have to say?
Overall, the average satisfaction score for Wiltshire is 86 per cent - a little better than the national average of 83 per cent.
But, our surgeries have dropped in overall satisfaction rate by two per cent since last year.
Dr Richard Sandford-Hill, Chair of Wiltshire CCG said: “We’re pleased with these results. GPs and their teams continue to work really hard to deliver a high standard of care to patients, and the results show that Wiltshire people continue to receive an excellent service from their family doctors.
“The last two years have been particularly challenging for GP practices and over the last year we have seen Wiltshire practices merge or, sadly, close due to capacity and GP recruitment issues.
“We know that we’re not out of the woods yet and there is much more work to do to ensure that all practices provide the level of service and satisfaction our patients deserve.”
