RESIDENTS, staff, councillors and police officers gathered at Wiltshire Heights Care Home in Bradford on Avon as the Cadet's Corner was officially opened.
On July 9, the area which was transformed from a small piece of scrubland into a sensory garden including a water feature, herbs and colourful flowers was unveiled after the group worked on it over the Easter holidays.
Police and Crime commissioner Angus Macpherson, Lady Gooch and her husband Lord Arthur Gooch, Head of Crime Prevention Sonja Leith, the Mayor or Bradford on Avon Cllr Simon McNeill-Ritchie as well as PC Charly Chilton and PC Lee Pelling joined the Cadets, staff and residents at the opening.
Libby Miles, from Wiltshire Heights said: “We would like to express our gratitude to the cadets for all of their hard work and praise them for their dedication to the project and for their kindness and consideration to the residents.”
