People in the Warminster and Corsley area called police about a vehicle being driven erratically and dangerously at high speeds on Monday August 5.

The couple were detained at the Shearwater shopping centre at Crockerton at about 2.35pm after police spotted their vehicle in the car park.

Earlier in the day, a man was observed on CCTV stealing a Dyson vacuum cleaner from Leekes at Melksham, before driving away from the premises with a woman in a black Renault Clio.
