Two classic modern musicals will fill the air above Lydiard Park with sweet sounds, this week – the songs of Abba and the tunes from PT Barnum biopic The Greatest Showman

The Luna Cinema, Lydiard Park’s open air summer cinema will be showing the smash hit Abba jukebox musical Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again tomorrow. Set after the events of the first film, and also featuring flashbacks to 1979, the feel-good film tells the story of Donna Sheridan’s arrival on a Greek island and her first meetings with her daughter Sophie’s three possible fathers. All set to the 1970s and 80s hits of Abba.

On Sunday worldwide musical hit ‘The Greatest Showman’ will be shown on the huge screen. Starring Hugh Jackman, the 2017 hit is one of cinema’s most successful live-action musicals, inspired by the story of P. T. Barnum’s ‘Barnum & Bailey Circus’.

Doors open at 7.15pm each night, and screenings will begin at 8.45pm.
