A GROUP of Trowbridge Town Council employees will be taking to the skies above Wiltshire later this summer to raise funds for this year’s Mayoral charity RukSak45218.
The adrenaline junkies will be taking part in a tandem parachute jump at Old Sarum airfield near Salisbury, on Saturday September 21.
Head of leisure and facilities Hayley Bell, Ellen Ford from The Civic and neighbourhood services’ Marcus Almadi, along with Rory Donaldson from the charity, will be jumping from an altitude of 10,000 feet.
Ruksak45218 is a newly formed charity which provides essential care packages in ruck sacks for underprivileged children. The packages include hygiene items such as toothbrushes, soap and more.
If you wish to join the parachute jump team, and to help raise funds for RukSak45218, email aby.cooper@trowbridge.gov.uk for details.
