DOROTHY House Hospice in Bradford-on-Avon was the venue of Abicare's Mad Hatter’s Tea Party last week.

With an array of teas, coffees and cakes, and music to sing along to, the event gave some of Abicare’s homecare and live-in clients, and their carers, the opportunity to get out and about in the community and engage in social interaction.

Abicare hosted their first Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in April at Bowerhill Village Hall.

An Abicare spokesman said: "We would like to thank Dorothy House Hospice for being so hospitable- it was lovely for clients and carers to meet their staff, and to have the opportunity to wander around the beautiful hospice grounds. Events like this are so important in ensuring that senior citizens continue to engage with, and be a part of, the local community. This helps to alleviate isolation and helps with keeping the brain active."
