DOROTHY House Hospice Care is inviting local people to sign-up before the end of September to take part in their Trek Nepal challenge in April 2020.
Between April 25 to May 6 next year, a group of walkers will trek the Himalayan Mountains to raise funds for the Hospice.
As part of a twelve day trip, participants will take on a five day trek and enjoy stunning views of the snowy peaks of the Annapurna Mountains, stay in locally-owned tea houses and enjoy learning about Nepalese culture.
Dorothy House’s team of trekkers will also spend two days volunteering at Hospice Nepal near Kathmandu assisting with light gardening, painting or decorating work and finding out about the challenges of delivering palliative care in rural Nepal.
