Man assaulted
A MAN suffered an injury to his knee after being assaulted in Broad Street, Trowbridge, at 6.12am on Sunday by another man who attempted to rob him. A man has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Drugs found
FIVE packets of white powder were found on a man who attempted to conceal them in Castle Street, Trowbridge, on Saturday at 3.30am. Police detained the suspect for a S23 Misuse of Drugs search and he was taken to Trowbridge Police Station where drugs were located in his groin area. Enquiries are ongoing.
Man threatened
A MAN was threatened by an assailant who approached the victim in Park Road, Trowbridge, at 1.28am on Saturday and gripped him while pushing him against a wall. The suspect shouted “You want some?” There were no injuries.
Street argument
A WOMAN pushed away a man who threatened her during a verbal argument in Castle Street, Trowbridge, at 00.55am on Saturday. There were no injuries.
Garage burgled
ITEMS were stolen by a burglar who raided a garage in Castley Road, Hilperton, at 9.30pm last Friday.
Woman bitten
A WOMAN was bitten on her arm and leg, causing bruising, after she was attacked by a dog while trying to protect her puppy on the Kennet & Avon Canal towpath at Bradford on Avon at 2.38pm last Thursday. The dog ran up to the puppy and started biting and violently shaking it.
Tools stolen
A LEAF blower, a high pressure water cleaner and a battery powered hedge trimmer were stolen from a storage area in Biss Meadows, Trowbridge, at 2.52pm last Thursday.
Car fire
A crew from Trowbridge attended a car fire outside a domestic property in Newleaze, Hilperton, at 6.06pm on Monday. They used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
