Attempted theft
THIEVES attempted to steal copper piping and copper cables by piling them up against the fire door in a derelict building in the Market Place, Melksham, last Thursday. They forced entry via the fire door exit.
Car entered
A PAIR of Gucci glasses, £200 in cash and a key were stolen from a car parked in Cranesbill Road, Melksham, on Saturday at 11.05pm.
Box moved
A HEAVY safe box was moved by a burglar who entered All Saints & St Mary’s Church in Chitterne, near Warminster, on August 1 after forcing open the church’s large oak door.
Dog bites jogger
A WOMAN jogger was bitten by a dog in Rock Lane, Warminster, at 8.40pm on August 1. Two dogs came out from a property through an open gate and both ran at her barking. One of the dogs bit her on the lower leg puncturing the skin.
Padlock forced off
A VANDAL forced the padlock off a gate in Duck Street, Sutton Veny, on August 2. Nothing was stolen.
Theft from shop
A THIEF stole a number of items from a shop in Fairfield Road, Warminster, at 12.10pm on August 2.
Wiper damaged
A WINDSCREEN wiper was ripped off a vehicle parked in East Street,Warminster, at 9.08pm on August 2 02/08/2019 20:08
Products nicked
A LARGE amount of Olay skin care products were stolen from a shop in Three Horseshoes Walk, Warminster, at 9.53am on August 3.
