CYCLING enthusiasts are preparing for another year of George’s marvellous bike ride to raise money for charity.
The event was started in 2012 in memory of George Hutchings who had quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy.
George was nine when he died and GMBR’s aim is to raise money for youngsters with life-limiting conditions and the charities and organisations who do so much to enhance their lives.
This year’s charity bike ride, which takes place along the Kennet and Avon Canal, the Two-Tunnels route and Bath will take place on Sunday September 1, starting and finishing in Bradford on Avon.
Last year the riders raised over £3,500 for two worthy charities, Stepping Stones and Scope.
This year we are raising money for Stepping Stones again.
To register, please send an email to georgesmarvellousbikeride@gmail.com saying I want to ride. Someone will them get back to you.
